<OverlayName> == <Name>

Define, Define Behind, Define Transparent

Shows the picture <PictureName> at the coordinates <X>,<Y> on the vehicle beginning at height <D> in Pixel in the picture, when the modifier [ <OverlayName> ] is used among the modifiers after it.

When the new picture has transparent pixels the [D: ] command copies the transparent pixels onto the original picture—the original picture can be given transparent areas, parts can be blocked out; overwritten by transparent pixels. Overlaying by a difference mode picture can preserve pixels from the original picture, and can change other pixels to transparent (showing through to the background).

The [DT: ] command copies a picture with transparency: one can see through the transparent areas of the original picture (or the background or the background colour.)

The [DB: ] command copies the new picture behind the original.  If the original is not transparent, the same effect can be achieved by using the [D: ] command in connection with the <D> parameter.

The default value for <X> is the middle of the new picture on the middle of the vehicle picture.  The default value for <Y> is that the bottom of the new picture rests on the top of the original picture.  The top edge of the vehicle is then redefined after the copying takes place in order to reflect the combined height of the two pictures.

The parameter <D> may be left out.  Its default value is 0.

The overlay process takes place when the modifier [ <OverlayName> ] is called.  In this way, one can create copies by using only the shortcut name rather than writing out the whole code each time.

The command is obsolete, as one can create the same effect by using the command [O: ] in tandem with a criteria, but it is retained for compatibility reasons.

There are 3 groups of similar modifiers.

The [O: ], [OT: ], [OB: ] modifiers put the overlay picture immediately on the specified position.

The [P: ], [PT: ], [PB: ] modifiers define the place for the overlay picture (usually in a macro definition), the overlay picture will be specified in a following modifier.

The [D: ], [DT: ], [DB: ] modifiers define both the position and the overlay picture (usually in a macro definition), the overlay picture will be placed only at the usage of a following modifier, having to specify only the name of the overlaying, a single word.
